The Instant messaging for teachers and administrators is available here.  There are two clients available.  One is web based therefore it may be accessed from any location with Internet access.  The other available client is loaded on your computer which allows more options such as sounds and popup messages.  Please follow the instructions below to login or configure your instant messaging client.

Click the link below to access the Web based instant messaging login page.  Use this format for logging into your IM account: lastname.firstname (Lowercase with no spaces) 

You password is the last four digits of your social security number.

An instant messaging client is available if you would rather have the  client on your computer.  You can still use the web based client if you close the one on your desktop. The new client pops up and dings when a new message arrives. It works very similar to the old Jabber Messenger.  Download and Install below.  Be sure to configure your client as shown below the download.

Configuration Pages should look like this.  Use the same format above to login to your new client.  Notice ther Server information.. you will have to type this in the first time.  Uninstall the old "Jabber Messenger" program to stop it from trying to load.
